Our workshops offer new knowledge, skills and attitudes (KSA’s) needed to have effective and meaningful relationships in the workplace. Interpersonal skills, (IPS) or “soft skills,” are increasingly recognized as crucial to being an effective leader or team player. We offer the opportunity to grow your interpersonal skills to not only be successful in the workplace, but in every area of life.
Apply these KSA's daily and see the results
Much of the soft skills being taught today are about personal development. They focus on the individual and looking within. While this is helpful, we know that giving people skills to navigate the daily relationships of the workplace, and life in general, are vital to a successful life. We offer the personal introspection and the skills for relating to the people around you. Through the use of Pre-Workshop Needs Assessments, both for the organization and the individual participants, we tailor each workshop to those attending.
This module focuses on the core learning necessary for all the other modules. It includes self-awareness of core convictions, negative behaviours and developing critical listening skills. Without a solid grasp on these core KSA’s, people will struggle to integrate the learning in the other modules.
People know the value of trust, but don’t necessarily know how it’s built or broken. This module helps individuals become aware of attitudes and behaviours that either build trust or break it. Organizational trust builders or breakers are also considered.
What do you do when someone’s behaviour is negatively affecting you or those around you? This module gives people the KSA’s needed to navigate hard conversations to address that negative behaviour. These skills increase the odds of successfully arriving at a desired outcome for everyone. It also includes KSA’s on diffusing anger and handling poor confrontation.
Many people have never been taught how to do conflict well or how to help others who are in conflict. Conflict is a normal part of any team, family or community. We give people courage to navigate the challenges of conflict and even grow from it.
Leaders who serve know how to help their team solve their own problems. Leaders who serve understand the power of encouragement. This workshop addresses these skills and more.
Everyone needs a certain level of stress to function. However, many people feel like they have too much. This workshop helps you understand stress, quantify it in your life and develop strategies to manage it or reduce it.
This module explores the intersection between spirituality/faith and leadership. Spiritual awareness impacts relational awareness in profound ways. You will explore your own level of spirituality or faith and how it is affecting your ability to lead and relate to others.
This workshop is all about un-packing the skills in facilitating group dialogue for maximum learning and impact on teams and individuals. It’s more about learning the art of facilitating than it is about interpersonal skills. Great for managers or those who train others.
